Reset AUX-Input on Laptop(it only accepts Microphone)

Gonen try to explain this with my low english skills.. :-D
First time i put sth in my AUX-Input my laptop (windows8 pakard bell) asked me if its a mic or a sound-output. I said mic and said the laptop to always use that setting and not ask again by accident. When i plug in My soundboxes it things its a microphone and will not play any music. same with headphone etc so its defnitly the software. I cant find any setting to reset this so it asks me again.... pls help me
