Research on Message Boards >> Please help me out here:)

by ivanasetiawan / November 16, 2008 2:42 AM PST

Hi all:)

I am doing my research about how word of mouth works online, and one of the topics is about spams on message board.

My question here is, how a message is categorized as a spam?
this is my starting question, so please feel free to reply me with whatever you want (related to spam on message board of course :p)

Thanks a lot!! I really do appreciate it:)

Hey there:)

yeah...I usually include the forum policies at the first place...but I really want to go in depth by asking in person (esp moderator)
Does a moderator of forum really read and check every new post thread by members?

O yeah...I would like to ask if it's possible to post a message to several forums at once. It is not categorized as a spam right? I mean, I am a real person who is trying to ask a question to different forums so I can get a better result...

Thanks a lot Grin really do appreciate it:)

the same question in multiple forums and usually they will either get locked or deleted. You are not asking for computer help anyway which is the main purpose of these forums. It looks more to me like to want us to do your homework for you.

You can find more info at www.google.com

I'm so sorry...didn't mean to do that...

My prof just told me to do interview as my field research..tough I must admit that it is hard to interview moderators...
I think the best thing to do is just do research on google and use it as my field research:)

Thanks a lot:)
