research for laptop for Black-Friday/Cyber-Monday

by Varxtis_212 / November 1, 2015 11:01 PM PST

My wife is in need of a new laptop. I was thinking that since Black-Friday/Cyber-Monday was coming up soon, it might be a good time to research laptops.
I'm looking for suggestions. She needs In for basic gaming (Sims and Age of Empires 3) and image editing and graphics design through adobe programs like Photoshop and Illustrator.
Does anyone have any suggestions.
Budget around $700-$1000, decent to good customer service, 1TB HDD and up, 8GB ram and up, and video with 6GB GPU and Up, 17 in screen.
No Macs.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
