Intel(r) G33/G31 express chipset family is not compatible with version of windows, has not been updated since 2009.
Please inform me what info you would require to assist in this matter, I am requesting asistance so I don't makie the mistake of downloading something I don't require, too many options to choose from on the Intel website.

- What's the exact error message you get, and when do you get it?
- Maybe you upgraded Windows from x to y since 2009, but you didn't tell what x and y are.
- Also please tell the link to the Intel page where you can't choose between the alternatives.

Updating graphics
Aug 9, 2014 10:23AM PDT

I just recently purchased an Intel(r) Core 2 Quad CPU, 96600@2.40GHz 2.39GHz 64 bit, with Windows 7 Ultimate, service pack 1. I was not aware of any problems until I attempted to try to play one of my games and could not, after discussing this with the game forum staff, they suggested I would probably have to purchase a new graphics card, however, I was informed that there is a possibility of aquiring an update on-line. I have been to the Intel Download Centre, they performed a search of drivers and one showed the graphics are not compatible to this version of windows.
If you require any further info, I will be happy to supply whatever you require.
Thank you

What you need

What you need is a new video card, because as you've figured out, Intel no longer supplies updated drivers for that IGP. Of course if you have an all-in-one, laptop or some other custom form factor computer, you might simply be screwed because there's usually no means of upgrading the graphics on those systems.
