Requesting firmware for LA32A550P1R

by glinx26 / October 15, 2009 4:30 PM PDT

I searched for firmware updates for this model that enables me to watch movies using flashdrives. Unfortunately, samsung don't have it. Should I request for one or can I use other firmware for other models?

Flashdrives

I have a B650 and it will show movies from a flashdrive.

It won't show all types of video files, some codex are still not supported, but it will handle a lot of them. The user manuals have a list of what file types the TV will play.

glinx26,

I'm not familiar with the features of non-U.S. models, unfortunately. You might call the Samsung customer service center in your region to see if you can get some assistance. Acceptable formats for media are also available in the manual, if the model supports them.

Under no circumstances would I suggest using a firmware from a different region OR a different model.
