The solution to more ram is another laptop. This time you know you want this much so you can shop with that in mind.
Why not squeeze by with a nice SSD for some added speed?

Hello Everyone,
Greeting!!!
I have a Lenovo G570 laptop with I5 Processor and 8 GB ram with 15''inc screen. I use Windows 7 as my operating system.
I work and most of the time practice using exchange and lync servers for my personal lab environment and hence the requirement of RAM is pretty high.
While running simultaneous virtual machines I could see that the RAM utilization is max and hence want to upgrade my RAM to at least 16 GB.
But it seems that the ram could not be upgraded more than 8 GB due to the laptops limitations supporting 8 GB at the max which could be installed. Could you please suggest me a solution for this.
Waiting for your kind reply.
Thanks in Advance!!!
Regards,
Amit Khamkar.
