i have a laptop running xp home edition with 512 mb RAM and a 60 gb hard drive ( the graphics card has 64 mb dedicated video ram).

would i still be able to install vista home premium on it and use it if i turned off the aero look?

I could have checked if the all important drivers are available. But without those the answer is Vista will run but little things like video, audio, wifi may not work proper.

I would stay with xp not enough memory it would run real slow.
