...can occur after doing some more clean up. Please follow the procedures in the links and instructions below:
Disk CleanUp
Click on Start-All Programs-Accessories-System Tools-Disk Cleanup. When that loads, click on the "More Options" tab, then, in the "System Restore" section, click on the "Clean Up" button to remove all but the most recent restore point.
For Windows 2000/XP, ignore the first couple of sentences about checking "resources" in the link below but follow the rest of the procedures including the "Services" links at the bottom.

Hi,
the problem is that all of a sudden it's taking 4 times as long for windows to shut down. I ran adaware and spybot, defraged (do that every 3 days), seems to me that it must be saving data????? it's a p3 with xppro, zap, a router with firewall, norton 2004, using firefox not ie, I guess that's it, please help....
