Reposted: Scandisk failure & Blue screen

"I am looking for any and all suggestions as to why my scandisk will not complete its task, telling me I have a missing or corrupt driver. Also when I am running a lot of tasks, the screen will freeze and go to blue screen, telling me the systems busy over and over. My systems old but its all I have. Can anyone help?

Can you post the name of this missing or corrupt driver?

Can you run a pass of SFC (system file checker)...just to see if it has anything to report?
