Reposted For 'galesmith': Logitech Backweb connection

Since Gale posted this topic in the "Tips for Computer Newbies" thread which is designed specifically for computer tips, I've reposted it here where it should get better responses. I'll delete the other post so a discussion can continue here:

Logitech Backweb connection

Because I've suddenly gotten two blank emails from strangers since I installed my new logitech mouse, I'm worried. I checked network settings and unchecked something called "backWeb-8876480"
Do you know if the appearance of the two emails is connected in some way to this service? I did tell logitech during registration that I wanted to know of updates.... Gale
