Main question....Did this game work correctly on this computer before? If so, what did you change?
Just because there are a number of viruses and spyware programs that can cause issues, please download either, or both of the free spyware removal programs below and use them to clean up the computer. BE AWARE....some "freeware" programs, such as KaZaa, may cease to function if they are dependent on the spyware to run. Still, it's safer to find new freeware than to continue with the spyware.

Next, as Donna previously suggested, did you install a recent version of DirectX?
Are you running a firewall? If so, try disabling it.
Did you install a new program or antivirus update? Did you try disabling those?

I have been trying everything that you suggested I do. My computer did allow cookies and I got ActiveX plugins enabled. I also installed the recent Java version. But nothing has worked to help me get on the Hammerhead Pool Table. I use dial-up and the other computer uses DSL. The other computer was a Compaq. After clicking on the word play, and verifying it by clicking on play on another screen it just froze again. Thank you for trying to help. I appreciate it.
