What I would like to know is
May 30, 2006 12:54PM PDT

(Tom, this is not directed at you, I am just using this topic to make my point)

Was anyone doing any body counts when Saddam was killing the Kurds?
Was anyone doing any body counts when the bloody terrorists were killing innocent civilians in certain parts of the world day in and day out?
Was anyone as revolted when the dead people were Israeli civilians and schoolchildren, or the American civilians that were brutally beheaded by insurgents?
Where was all the outrage by certain members of this forum who only seem to come out of the abyss and get an adrenaline rush when, God forbid, the Americans accidentally shoot and kill a civilian or when the Israelis shoot and kill an ISM member who was interfering in a danger zone where he should not have been in the first case.

So before you guys (and you know who you are) preach and claim the high ground, look at the mirror and tell me what you see? You should see a fake and a phony whose only satisfaction comes from picking the smallest fault or accident and turning it into a propoganda war against your country (provided you are an American) and doing the dirty work for the enemies of this country in time of war. Shame on you!

Just remember, that image you see in the mirror is the image of the enemy staring right back at you!

I challenge you to state right here on this...

...forum that you love your country and you don't like or want outsiders badmouthing and trashing your country and the people in it.

If not so, state the contrary.

If you do, say so. If you don't say so. Seems to me to be...

your request that I state

that you love your country and you don't like or want outsiders badmouthing and trashing your country and the people in it.

If not so, state the contrary.

Has no relation to my request of Mark to ''back up his statement''

I am making no reference to anyone's love of country, nor am I badmouthing his country or anyone living in that country.

I don't like outsiders badmouthing my country

I reserve that right for myself.

The last thing a country or company needs is for it to be run by yes-men. That's what has gotten Bush and Enron and a lot of other companies and countries in trouble. There needs to be someone to play devil's advocate.

I mean we can be very pleasant and say my country right or wrong and agree with everything that goes on in the government or companies but things won't improve or go forward that way. That is the way we get religion running things like the Taliban or the Catholic Church during the Middle Ages (there was a reason it was called the Dark Ages).

I thought Bush was just a puppet being controlled by Cheney and Rove. I'm so confused!
