The profile page may be cached, so it may not display the posts that you just submitted to the forums immediately. Depending on how it is set up it may take any where from several hours or up to a day for it to appear on your profile page. I know many CNET pages are being tweaked to improve load times, so it might be something they recently just changed.
Do you guys remember how long it took for forum post to appear in your profile after submission?
But in this case any posts made since yesterday's update aren't displaying, as if we're stuck in time. You're probably right about it being a caching issue, though, since the forum search engine results are up-to-date.

The Profile page just seems completely broken as of late. Not a gripe as such but it is becoming a bit redundant trying to do anything with it, and post posts have become effectively AWOL. I've removed almost everything from my 'got it' and 'want it' pages, but the replies and posts seem stuck in time since a while back.
Cnet is using a caching system to decrease load times, which is why there's a noticeable difference between loading posts from last week and last year. The same appears to be done with user profiles, albeit updated more frequently, which is likely the cause of this profile update problem.
As to the I Want/Got It, it's been broken for months and will be removed completely in the near future due to a relatively low level of usage by the overall membership.

usually just a few minutes. This same thing happened a few months ago.
The problem was caused by the profile pages pulling data from an old database. This has been updated to pull data from the the new database--so all should be good now. Let me know if it isn't.
Thanks for your patience!
