Resolved Question

replacing search in win10

Mar 18, 2018 11:58PM PDT

I'm new to win10 and would like an easier way to do file search on my computer. I find Cortana very annoying, I do not want suggestion from Bing search, I just want to find files on my computer.
I have Dell computer with 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD, so need to easily search both drives. I open "this PC" window and do my search there.
This works fine, but I would like to know what other members do?

I Use Two Options Like You

I've disabled Cortant so the bottom search windows is easier to use for me, and it finds a lot of things I need. Plus I also open "This PC" and run the search from the upper left corner when I only want specific file names on the PC.

Hope this helps.
