From all the units I've taken apart, the keyboard is removed.

Anyone out there who replace the fan in their SR17 laptop? My fan has apparently quit which makes the computer get hot and quit operating until it cools down. I'm worried I may end up with some heat related damage if I don't fix this problem soon. The fan module is on the bottom of the case and there seems to be only one screw holding the fan cover in place. However, with the screw out, I can't seem to get the module to come out and I DON'T want to force it and end up breaking some plastic gismo in the unit. There must either be a "secret" twist or perhaps it's necessary to attack the problem from the top by removing the keyboard. If anyone has any ideas on this problem I would appreciate any input. I've already spotted two places on the internet where I can buy a new fan.
