Replacing Cox modem

I have Cox Comm. for TV, Internet & phone service. I'm tired of paying them about $85 a year to rent their modem. I have a Cisco Model DPQ2935 modem.
Does anyone know if I can purchase a market modem that would replace this one?

Call cox

Ask if you can transfer that modem from rental to owned.
I did that years ago with my Charter modem.
Just keep in mind that if something goes wrong with that modem your on the hook.
