General discussion

replacing computer

Aug 11, 2010 11:06PM PDT

I have been persuaded by my family that I must replace my gerbil powered PC! So I approached friendly compuetr shopp and they indicated no problems. "just let us know what spec you wnat" Well Ok I could go berserk and demand the fastest, most sophisticated . however that old stopper is price. I am seeking a Desktop PC on which I can play medium demand games, reasonable sound (not necessarily 7/1) films watch TV,etc I see so much about built in graphics V separate graphicsa cars etc etc, so I am interested and would welcome a spec list for a PC which whould not cost the earth which I can present to the shop in question. So any help welcome dave

Kinda hard to follow your translation software, but try www.newegg.com you will find a PC you need for 550 USD No more than 650 USD. That is all you need.

If you're in a decent sized town/city, many local shops offer "entry level" systems that provide enough kick to get things done. A local vendor can be the likes of BestBuy, OffcieMAX, Staples, Fry,s WalMart(online too) and even Sears, etc..A basic system now offered will do what you like. You need only go up abit in whatever to suit your needs which will normnally be another system model# from an entry level one. Regardless, besides local there are only vendors, NewEgg, Geeks, TigerDirect to get some pricing info/. Also, online vendors like Dell, Gateway, HP, etc., offer good deals, just review what you're getting and the fine print as always from any vendor.
