I bought a Samsung 55", 3D, LED Model UA55C8000XFXXY in Dec 2010 from Sydney and shipped overseas (SriLanka) as a gift to my parents. When the TV was delivered we found the right frame was bent. I took to Samsung dealer in SriLanka and they confirmed the Panel needs replacing.
Am I covered under any type of warranty. I have already spent for the TV, Shipping and Duty & Taxes in SriLanka which is a lot. I just wanted my parents to enjoy my gift.
Can somebody in Samsung suggest the best course of action available to me. Many thanks for a expeditious response.
