Question

Replacement for KeyCAD design software.

Since 1995 I have used a simple but great CAD drawing tool called KeyCAD by Softkey. It worked on W95, W98 and XP but will not work on W7 and W8 I was told that it would work on my W8 pro, but it doesn't.
Does anyone know of a simple lowcost CAD software that will work on a Windows 8 Pro?

It's what I use for free, found on the internet

To install Windows (I can bet you have a copy somewhere or 95, 98, etc.) and then run that inside the Virtual Box.

Sorry but I don't want you upset but it is what I use.

I too use KeyCad and have for many years. I've run into the same problem with Windows 7. Have you found a solution to this problem yet?

In reply to: KeyCad

Did you find a solution to using KeyCad by Softkey on your computer that has Windows 7? If you did could you let me know how you did it. Did you use the Virtual Box, someone mentioned? I haven't found it yet.

I noted a solution above.

It's only mildly challenging to those that ran XP.
