If I understand the question, This is what you are looking for.
It's called a Power Adapter because that's what it does, adapts mains power to something suitable for the Macbook. Technically, it's a transformer.

I've been looking all over the Apple site, and can't find this. Where would I find and how much would it cost to get a duplicate cable/cord for the MacBook? The one that goes to the electric outlet. I can find all sorts of "adapters", but not this. I just want to see about getting another one exactly like the one that originally came with the machine. No, haven't lost mine.
