Replace missing DIMM.dll file

A search of my XP system by a registry optimization program says I'm missing the DIMM.dll file. Is there somewhere I can download and install it without paying for some other service?

Is there any program not working because it's missing?

I can't find MS Front Page 2002, which I've been using for years, and I assume there is a connection. So far, however, no other programs appear to be missing.

BTW, I reinstalled Front Page and still can't access it, either by clicking on its desktop icon or by searching for an .exe file.

Does this sound like the results of a missing DIMM.dll file?
(This stuff is way beyond my level of technical competency)

Sorry, but...

I don't really know, because I'm not familiar with the program.
You could try downloading a copy the dll file and put it in your system
and system32 folders that could fix your problem. That's all I think of
best of luck. Also you might want to make sure your files are backed up
those dll download site always seem shady to me I don't know why I have used some of them for a couple of reasons and never gotten a virus, but I like to be safe.

It seems that this is a Microsoft file: "dimm.dll is a Active IMM Server DLL from Microsoft Corporation belonging to Microsoft(R) Global IME". Does that ring a bell? Do you use IME?

As for Frontpage: first uninstall it, and manually remove all shortcuts to it (on the desktop, in Start>Programs) if the uninstall doesn't. Then reinstall. The newly created shortcuts should work. If they don't work, they should give a clear error message. Post that, if necessary.
