Repeater vs. MIMO

I have a Linksys WRT54G that does a serviceable job, but the signal starts to fade from my office to the rest of the house. I'm considering either adding a repeater or just getting a new MIMO router. Can anyone recommend which is likely to perform better? I know it's difficult to predict without seeing my set up, but I'm curious if the range and speed boost I've heard about with MIMO would likely outperform or match the slower 80211g + Repeater.

depends on your room layout and material

If your wall is penetrable by the signal.. then MIMO would be best choise... just remember, to get the max out, you need a MIMO capable pc card too..

If your wall is not penetrable by the signal.. then obviously, repeater is the best choice.
