repair install messed up video drivers, and System32 missing

Hello, i have recently used repair install and it has completly messed up my video drivers, i have tried updating them and uninstalling them and reinstalling them, but nothing has worked, also i have looked on my brothers computer and his nvidia drivers are in system 32 and i have just discorvered that my XP professional does not have a system 32 folder, i have tried unhidding them, but still no joy. It has a file called "inf" which apparenlty is on older versions of windows instead of system32, my video drivers might be a virus but im not convinced it is, i have a NVIDIA GEFORCE FX 5200 256MB, does any know why my drivers dont work? please help thanks!

Video drivers are not Microsoft's responsibility.

This is an area that the Macintosh wins. Today's owners are no longer willing to find and install drivers on their own.

1. Yes. You'll have to install the video driver and all the other drivers Microsoft doesn't do for you.

2. The directory may be hidden or your machine suffered a virus/trojan attack and again, this is an area Microsoft lets us take care of.

How to update said drivers. Please download from your card maker and try their installer.

Remember that such may fail if MOTHERBOARD DRIVERS are needed.
