Repair Disk Permissions warning message; what does it mean

Sep 17, 2010 12:16AM PDT

Every time I run Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions function on my Intel iMac I keep getting this warning.

"Warning: SUID file "System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAgent" has been modified and will not be repaired."

What does this mean? Is this malicious code that I inadvertently downloaded? What if anything can I do about this? My iMac seems to be running fine?

Thanks.
