Question

repair center needed for Toshiba DVR620KU

May 28, 2017 12:25PM PDT

I have a Toshiba DVR620KI DVD Video Recorder / Video Cassette Recorder. I have a problem: in play or record mode the unit will run for 9 seconds & stop its self & turn its self off.
I am looking for a repair shop & reaching out to anyone whom may know of one in the 94066 zip code area which is just south of San Francisco, CA. Any leads greatly appreciated. ALSO if anyone has this type of unit that operates 100% & wants to sell it just connect with me to discuss. I have many home Video Tapes to transfer & need a working unit. Thanks, Tom

I'm going with unlikely.

Factors against you are the 2009 model this was and the cost of repair OOW (out of warranty) then the fact makers only service such for a few years.

Yes, it was pricey but shop a replacement unit. I saw used at under 400.
