Reolink,Foscam,Nest IP camera

Apr 23, 2016 1:39AM PDT

Recently, I wanted to install an IP surveillance system. And I looked through Amazon. I found three brands: Reolink, Foscam and Nest.

Reolink's products are pretty good and have a respectable price according to other customers' reviews.

Foscam and Nest's products look pretty but a little bit expensive than Reolink. Is there anyone has used one of three products? Please give me some suggestions for choosing a IP camera system.

Any response is appreciated.

Foscam is OK

I would go with the Foscam, I have one in my home and it works OK for me, it is a wireless camera so wifi signal condition should be taken in to condition. I don't have a high standard for the image quality, so the images streamed on my PC are also acceptable. To me, the most important thing is that this camera costs little than most of the cameras. Because of the limited budget, I was hesitated between the Reolink, and I chose this foscam brand, but I still would like to try the reolink in the future, the specialization of it is attractive and I think it has a better-looking appearance. I have never tried the Nest before, but I do know it has something to do with the Dropcam, sorry for limited info that I give.

Reolink Camera Systems are Fantastic and Easy

Anyone considering buying the wireless camera system must try ReoLink. I was introduced to this camera system by my son-in-law Who convinced me I should get cameras in the first place. We purchased them and they arrived quickly. We open the box and he had the walk through the set up by myself. I I am in my 60s and was able to install them on myself. If you can operate a step ladder and a screwdriver you can install these. What's better is that as soon as I plug them in then plugged in the DVR device it recognize the cameras immediately and I was able to set it all up in about an hour! It made me feel good that I could install these myself and make changes in location if I wanted to later. After using them for several months now, I've been able to detect when packages arrive and I have also caught some neighborhood kids goofing off and egging the neighbors car and kicking over a trashcan on several occasions. Having the video made a very simple to identify the kids and to hand the video to the parents so they can fix the problem. I'm very happy and recommend these to everyone. You will too. Give them a try.
