Renew or Replace NIS 2005?

Dec 27, 2005 12:53AM PST

Looking for some advice and I know its a hot topic.
My 3 user license for Norton Internet Security (with firewall, AV, etc.) is due for renewal in 4 days. Since I need to cover 3 machines (2 using XP Pro, 1 Win2k) what is your recomendation going into 2006?
Renew NIS 2005 for another year?
Ditch NIS 2005 renewal and switch to products x, y & z that do the same thing only better?

I admit, I went with NIS 2005 for the simplicity I thought a suite was going to give me. Instead I had a few headaches along the way. Plus I feel NIS is slowing the 2 XP machines.

Thanks for your time
