As best as I can tell, AOL8.0, which I have, does not provide a way to disable guest sign on, although it looks like AOL9.0 does. I don't want to switch to 9.0, so I ran across a program called Watch Right, which permits a person to disable guest sign on. It also provides a surrepitious look at what the kids are doing online; I'm not sure how much use I'll make of that, except to try to check to see where viruses might have come from. It's amazing to me that AOL makes such a big thing out of parental control, yet has allowed the kids to guest sign on and evade all those controls. grandpaw
