removing yahoo toolbar

Dec 16, 2006 11:55AM PST

I just downloaded the Flash player, and unwittingly (and unwillingly) downloaded the blasted yahoo toolbar. Sure, I can disable it every time I log on, but I'd like to remove it permanently. I'm using IE 6.0. Does anyone know how to do this?
BTW, I did a forum search on CNET and found all kinds of threads relating to the toolbar, but I got an error message saying the page couldn't be displayed for every link I clicked on. Something messed up about that.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Tx, Taz
