removing trojan - recycler

Hi,

i scanned my computer and McAfee detected a trojan & quarantined it. When i scanned later, i again detected it. File name is "F:\RECYCLER\S-1-6-22-2434476501.....\WINUDPMGR.EXE

Can i use Autorun Eater v2.5 to get rid of this? Or if you can suggest anything that works for this problem that would be really great?

Thanks in Advance,
iri

Yes, Start With Autorun Eater First

In reply to: trojan - help

The "Recycler" trojan is commonly fixed by starting with AutoRun Eater.. Once that's done, try downloading Malwarebytes and SuperAntispyware on the infected computer.. If they download, install, update, then a full system scan runs correctly, you're on your way to cleaning up the problem.

In your case, because you may also have an infected USB drive, scan the USB drive as well.

Hope this helps.
