Removing pre-release Office 2007 traces...

Sep 22, 2007 11:05AM PDT

I used to have pre-release versions of Office 2007 installed, but removed them early this year when I installed Office 2007 RTM. Now I'm trying to install Visio 2007 Pro. but am receiving the error message that I must first uninstall all pre-release versions of Office 2007...Apparently some remnant has been left behind, which now needs removed. I know there's a utility from Microsoft that can resolve this problem by clearing out all the obsolete registry entries as I've used it before, but can't for the life of me remember its name or what the URL is. (It's not the Windows Cleanup Utility.) Anyone happen to know the tools I'm referring to and where it can be downloaded from? Or perhaps an alternative remedy?

John
