Removing the games isn't going to be a special process. It uses the same add/remove pgms. or features depending on the OS. You simply need to know what is what. look at the listing once displayed and hit delete, allow it to complete the process. You can also use the pgms. own un-install process if so presented, which maybe better. There's nothing real special other than knowing what has to be deleted. Repeat the process as necessary.
Hi and TIA for your help,
I am helping a friend remove unused and/or unnecessary programs from her HP laptop and I see several gaming programs, some of which she uses and some she does not. What is present in Programs and Features is HP Games (832 MB), My HP Games (832 MB), Bejeweled 3 (238 MB) and Wild Tangent Games App / HP Games (7.92 MB). She apparently began playing Bejeweled 2 through HP Games (which of course came on the computer), then bought some "tokens" to continue playing, then downloaded Bejeweled 3 at another time. She still apparently plays both, but I'm wondering if all this bloatware is necessary. How would I know which programs if any to delete? And if any can be deleted, can I delete them through the normal control panel uninstall process or is something else required?
Thanks!
