Haze as in mist, or as in unfocussed? I have not worked much with mist, but my instinct would be to select the area (be generous) with a large fether copy it and paste it to another layer. On the new layer, up the saturation and lower the opacity, maybe even play with the filters with multiple layers and varyied opacities. then once youve achieve the right overall coloration go into spot areas and add dark and light spots with the brush (using the stamp tool to pick out the right lighting color on the good side of the picture if possible
As far as unfocussed pics there is a filter called sharpen. you can use it on a selected area probably with a large feather. Ive really not been succesfull using it more than twice the area will get really grainy. After applying the filter go in and add spot highlights and shadows with the brush...
I have some photos of nature shots in the morning that have a bit of haze I'd like to see if I can remove or lighten. I'm using PS7 and was wondering if any one knows a technique or a way of doing this utilizing PS. Thank you.
