Unless you have an issue that something is not working, don't fix it.

Hi. I have a Dell Inspiron 5100 notebook, and there are quite a few 'ghost' devices in Device Manager.
For example, my notebook recently had a faulty sound, and Dell replaced the whole motherboard. Now, in Device Manager, my network card, Broadcom 440 is labelled as "Broadcom 440 #2". I have a Motorola handphone connected to the notebook as a modem, and since I plugged them into different USB ports, I have "Motorola Modem" #2 and #3. Currently, it only shows Motorola Modem #3, but I just want to remove all those ghost devices.
So, how should I remove all these ghost devices?
Thanks a lot.
