Removing Firefox Windows Register Keys

Feb 24, 2006 12:55AM PST

Hi all ,

I got a question for you all.

I uninstalled FireFox a while ago.

I got SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard installed.

When I open SpywareBlaster it says that I have FireFox , but I haven't , because I uninstalled it.

How can I fix that ?

Is there a program that could fix that for me ? Or do I need to start digging in the Windows Register ?

I got CCleaner installed , but it doesn't remove it , I think.

Anyone got a clue how to fix this ?

Thanks.

Greetings ,

Exactly where do you see that in

SpywareBlaster? Maybe its simply telling you that it protects Firefox, if you have it installed. Some details as to where you are seeing this in SpywareBlaster may help solve the problem.

Hi all ,

@glenn30 : Well, I installed SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard at my girlfriends laptop and she doesn't use FireFox, there I get the message that FireFox isn't installed ...

I just need to know how to get rid of the register keys of FireFox , that's all.

Did you remove the Mozilla folder in Program files? Delete the Mozilla folder and see if that helps.
