How do I remove CA Windows Defender? Cannot find in program list to delete. Cannot install AVG without removing this program????

Are you sure it's CA Windows Defender. It doesn't turn up as such in Google. And Windows Defender (without CA) is a Microsoft product. A link please to the product page on CA.

I am attempting to install the basic (free) version of AVG antivirus (can't avoid to purchase at this point) and this CA Windows Defender must be removed. I cannot locate it in the list of programs to be deleted, etc. and have searched the computer quite thoroughly. I know I am missing something. What?
