Removed ram from macbook without disconnecting battery !

I was cleaning my macbook while doing so I opened the back case and decided to clean the logic board with dry brush , I found my ram to be covered in dust so I decided to remove it and clean it , while i removed the ram I saw that I did not disconnect the battery and the laptop was in sleep mode (not shut down) now my macbook is not starting or charging

What damaged has happened to the laptop and at chip-level repairing , how can it be back to the normal state ?

Model - Mid 2012 , Macbook Pro A1278 , Crucial 8GB RAM (4x2) , 500GB HGST Hard Drive ,OSX Sierra and Windows 7 (Dual Boot)

Thanks in Advance !
