Resolved Question

Removed CPU Cooler

Feb 28, 2014 10:04PM PST

Hi all, new to the forums. I was cleaning my PC today, I decided to remove the cooler fan that sits over the motherboard, due to it being very dusty. Upon removal these little white plastic clips randomly fell off. I can now not find a way to reattach the cooler. I was extremely careful and gentle when removing, although it was a massive mistake in the first place as I have little knowledge of PC hardware. Sorry for my lack of understanding and information. I think the cooler is a spire voyager, or something close. can anyone help? Is it best not run the PC without the cooler.?Thanks in advance, Alex.

CPU fan

Personally I would not run the system without a CPU fan. Take it to a tech shop and explain the situation if you are unsure, this is not a major job but it needs to be put back into proper order.
