>>Remove Virus Script

by iceman84 / April 20, 2004 7:42 PM PDT

I suspect I am having a virus script on my computer. It is a Win98, Pentium 4.
Whenever I start up my computer my mouse is normal. But after using it for a few minutes. It will go to one corner of the screen and not response.

I tried unpluging and replugging my mouse but the problem is still there.

Recently I noticed that the time before my mouse goes to one corner gets shorter and shorter.

When I restart my computer the mouse goes back to normal.

Please help. My anti-virus is not detecting it. How can I solve this problem? Is there a software to remove virus scripts?

1. I suspect I am having a virus script on my computer. My anti-virus is not detecting it.

Why do you so suspect -- you gave no reason and what is this anti-virus program used?

2. Please note that just above the text editor (where you enter a question on the forum) is the following paragraph, and if certain information is not present in your question, our reply may not be of much help:

Tip: If you are asking for help to troubleshoot a computer-related problem, please be sure to include all the necessary information (ie: operating system, model number, hardware, software, etc) that will help others identify your problem for a speedy resolution.

Note: You gave no information describing this peripheral such as the name, type, manufacturer, or the way it is attached to the computer! What if anything has recently changed on the computer, and have you tried a system restore to a point just before this anomaly started happening?
