First try Unlocker to 'unlock' the file from running processes and then, if that fails, use MoveOnBoot to schedule the files for deletion the next time you reboot your computer. As long as your current installation isn't relying on those files you should be good to go.

I tried to install Vista Home Premium on my home built computer.
It failed several times because my CPU was overheating, causing the
installation to stop before completion. I fixed the overheating problem and Vista installed properly and is running very well now.
However, I now have several (incomplete) copies of Windows folders on my hard drive and I cannot delete them. Does anyone have any suggestions for me to remove these unneeded folders? They are using about 25 GB of drive space. Thanks for any help...
