removal of Bing

I am being driven up the wall by the confounded Bing bar how do I get rid of it? I like my home page to stay on BBC news but every time I change it next time I click on home low and behold there it is again B------dy Bing who will rid me of it

Well there is a Bing bar thats

not associated with a Browser that was in a Microsoft update and there is a toolbar that's can be added to IE. The Bing bar loads when you boot up and is separate from the browser. That one you have to uninstall in control Programs.
