Remote touch-interface for iPad

Feb 11, 2011 6:53AM PST

I was wondering if anyone had taken the steps to create a remote monitor that allows for touch inteface (input) ... in other words, is there a way to use Jailbreak and a remote VGA adapter and hook up to a larger (say, 22"?) monitor that allows for me to use the larger monitor just like it is my iPad? Let's call it a desk version. Anyone know if this has been done?

Not the question ...

Hey, thanks for the answer, but it didn't answer the question. I was wondering if anyone had done a solution (like the company you pointed to) for a touchpad input for iPad. Anyone can hook up a touchpad to a Macbook or other full blown computer. I'm looking to use a remote monitor WITH TOUCH INPUT for an iPad.

Any ideas?

Yes.

But not something I've seen today. While what you ask for is possible the market for this appears to be you and who else. This means that the development of such may not be financially a good idea.

For those type things you learn to create it yourself or use something else.
