Does anyone know of a good way to monitor text messages on an android phone remotely?

There are replacement chat apps as well as monitoring apps. BUT this area of spyware is not one that these forums dive into. That is, none of the moderators I know will tell folk how to install spy apps or which spy apps to use.

It's an intrusive anti-privacy item so again, you can find such things but finding support is very hard since the outlook on this is that they are spyware and unwelcome.

This evening, I saw a news story on my local news that a brand new application that allows for this has been just released on the Android Marketplace. I apologize that I didn't get the name of the application. From the description, it allows parents to monitor text messages sent or received from a computer.
