onslope,

What function are you looking for the color buttons to do? And are you given options with the color buttons on the screen?

Hi Hd tech,

There is some options in menu to use these buttons.. eg. search network(BD1250), setup a recording, edit recordings(P770Z).
I can live without them, but it seems strange that these color-buttons are not available with samsung product when using original multifunction controller from the tv.
Also I can't "paus" the bluray with the tv remote.
This function is quite basic so I do hope there is another code to make this great setup even better. Anynet+ is works great, specially for my girlfriend Happy

onslope,

From what I've tested here, the Blu-Ray and the television's color buttons should interact with each other.

That said, the Set top box (DCB-P770Z) may have a different set of discrete codes for the functionality of that box by itself.

Hope that helps.

HD_tech,

Thanks for the reply. Still dont get the color buttons to react with the Blueray menu. I have used the controller in both tv and dvd mode.
Are you using the same codes as me?
I may have to get another multi remote or try all the codes. Does it matter what mode I use on the remote e.g DVD, STB, TV ... ... .. ??

Thanks in advance

onslope,

I used a 2009 television with a 2009 product. So I'm thinking that the color button's codes may have changed if you're using an older remote. I don't believe that changing the multi-remote is going to make a difference (though, I would suspect that the best chance might be if it's on DVD).

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
