Question

Remote Access router Asus RT N56U

Dec 25, 2016 2:34PM PST

Hi everyone,

I've live in Denmark in a apartment where we got internet in all apartments from our landlort I think we all get the same external IP in all appartmens and all ports in the active equipment is closed I've been told. When i run a port scan all ports are closed it says. ( also port 80?) so I think the equipment is told not to respond on any request.

Is it then possible for me to remote access my home network from outside? When I fill in the ip 10.0.0.1 I've got a login page for the equipment there is placed down the basement that I'm not allow to access for the building owner.

Works with team viewer

I've tried google Remote Desktop and team viewer and that's work so I can enter my computer from outside my home network. But I can't access CCTV or router from outside. The ports are open too.

Until you gain control of the main router.

You are stuck with the limitations. With RD apps you can get to the PC and on the PC view the cameras. Sluggish but a workaround.
