Remember that if you can access your machine, then it's possible that everyone else on the internet will be able to as well.

Since I don't want that I use TWO programs and one client program to get to the desktop and files on the road.

1. Desktop access is via TIGHTVNC. I will not supply any links for you in this post, but tell you to type the all capital word into

2. File access is down with OPENSSH for the server and WINSCP or PUTTY.

My friend introduced me to Remote Administrator. He accesses his home computer from work(both are on cable). He accesses mine when I have problems I can't fix and I'm dial-up.Of course, all computers to be linked together have to have this program installed.Good Luck!

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
