My friend has just bought a new Acer laptop and I'm trying to connect to it using Team Viewer so I can set it up for her
The problem is that her computer is not letting team viewer or any other program initiate a remote connection.
When team viewer is started the following message appears:
"No connection to team viewer server
Check your Internet connection, most likely you are using a proxy server and you have to enter the proper information in the options dialog."
I have made sure that remote access is checked in system properties and windows firewall has an exception for team viewer.
As I say this is a new laptop running Windows 10 home with default settings.
Any help would be much appreciated
