Remember mimeograph machines? And that pungent smell?

Jan 16, 2015 4:20AM PST

I can remember that we as children used to sniff the damp hand-outs and exam papers as if we were attempting to get high. How do 8 year olds learn behavior like that. Probably just the glories of the life of the senses to which we were so attuned as children.
Just talking to a friend and that subject popped up in the middle of the conversation entirely unrelated to anything we'd been talking about.

Bet somebody would do a study and find that mimeograph fluid is a carcinogen. And I bet they haven't done such a study on photo-copier cartridges.
