Remember Me and Remember My Password does not work

I have to enter my details each time I log in.
I have ticked all the right boxes so I would like to uninstall WLM and try a new download, but , similar to the problem in the Uninstall thread, WLM does not appear in the Control Panel Add and Remove.
Any help gratefully received

Live Mail password fix

I've had the same problem. Don't know why it happened, however, I deleted each email account and re-entered each one and it fixed the problem. I hope this helps.

Yahoo! Toolbar installer.

The problem is fixed by correcting a registry entry that should point to the Application Data folder in the affected user profile. Apparently the Yahoo! Toolbar installer changes this entry so all programs that use this entry are affected.

Apparently repairing your Windows Live installation also fixes this problem.
