When you upgraded it did not upgrade wine because Red Hat 9 does not come with wine.
You will need to upgrade wine.
Try getting:
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/1218183/com/wine-20040505-1rh9winehq.i686.rpm.html
Once you get that straightened out you should go to:
http://www.freshrpms.net
and grab a copy of apt, synaptic, and yum for RH9. Those tools will make keeping your system up to date far less painless than just plain RPM.
I recently upgraded to Redhat 9. When I have tried to run Wine I get the following error:
wine: relocation error: /usr/lib/wine/libwine.so: symbol h_errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
What is the problem I am facing? How do I fix it?
