Relocation error

Jul 29, 2004 8:12AM PDT

I recently upgraded to Redhat 9. When I have tried to run Wine I get the following error:

wine: relocation error: /usr/lib/wine/libwine.so: symbol h_errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

What is the problem I am facing? How do I fix it?

solution:
using ldd check which library ur executable is using. if it is not correct one change LD_LIBRARY_PATH=urlibrarypath

now compile & make.

"When you upgraded it did not upgrade wine because Red Hat 9 does not come with wine.
You will need to upgrade wine."

You meant install wine.
